Keep SAM unlock on your iPhone forever with Cookie. About a week ago jumped the pump with the possibility of releasing any iPhone easily in few seconds taking advantage of a bug in Apple’s servers allowing SAM unlock “trick” the server so that we can use any card as if it were the original iPhone.
Unfortunately this was short time, but if you were one of the lucky ones to get the jailbreak, you have the ability to save this release forever, and for this you have two options:
1. – Follow the guide did (manual method)
With your iPhone released by SAM unlock and SIM card (which is not official) within the iPhone up and running, you access the files on the iPhone via iFile for example. In particular we need to access the path / var / root / Library. Click EDIT (at the top right), select the button to compress into ZIP and make a copy of LockDown folder, rename it to something you remember (put it in Dropbox or somewhere where you have it available when you need it .)
If you need when you update the iPhone just have to copy this folder on the same route by replacing the original course. Remember that you must not have SAM unlock running on the iPhone, or anything that may create some software conflict.
After replacing the folder remember you have to completely turn off the iPhone and then to turn it on wait a minute and ready, and return to have your iPhone with the same card
2. – Automatic method with Cookie to keep SAM unlock .
Cookie can be found in Cydia and once installed allows us to make a backup copy of the SAM unlock, the guard on their servers and allows us to restore in the future from the same application when needed.
